WRITER'S GUIDELINES
Magazine Purpose
Our purpose is to honor God as a publication designed to encourage and train members for implementing the most effective methods that generate spiritual and numerical growth. We will present growth ideas that are traditional or innovative when they are biblical and practical.
We believe that God has placed church leaders and members in a position of responsibility to effectively plant and water using the best available methods. And we can still have confidence that God gives the increase.
Targeted Readership
Our target readership is both church leaders and general membership. Successful implementation of growth strategies require the~full support of the staff, elders, deacons, and general membership. Articles that inform and motivate the person in the pew will have the greatest impact for positive change and growth. Our aim is to target all members, be motivational and practical, and not to polarize members around issues.
Mechanics
All articles should be typed and double spaced. Writers should keep a copy for their own files. Articles should be from 850 to 1,700 words, which is about four to seven pages of double-spaced type. Shorter or longer material is acceptable if the topic warrants an exception. The title and author's name, address and phone number should appear on the first page.
If possible, article should be sent on computer disk as well as a hard copy. A list of programs which we are able to translate are listed on the reverse side.
Church Growth Magazine reserves all customary editorial rights including the final decision concerning publication of the articles in Church Growth Magazine.
