CHURCH GROWTH DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION
What is the Purpose?
The Center for Church Growth has designed the Diagnostic Follow-up to help churches one to two years after the Diagnostic Evaluation. This service provides a professional, individualized, and economical evaluation of the total church program, with a specific evaluation of a church's progress after the Diagnostic Evaluation. Specific recommendations for future action enable church leaders to continue implementation of growth strategies.

- Provides a data base to supplement the Diagnostic Written Report and helps in evaluating progress and planning future goals.
What Is The Procedure?
- RESEARCH. A packet of preliminary materials is sent to the church to be completed and returned before the visit. Materials request data in the areas of programs, facilities, finances, and staffing. Only your newest members are asked to complete the church membership survey.
- ANALYSIS. The completed questionnaires are carefully evaluated and interpreted by the consultant. The data is plotted on graphs and other visual aids in preparation for the visit.
- CONSULTATION VISIT. Normally the visit will take two days. During the visit, the consultant will interview representative groups of people from the congregation.
- ORAL REPORT. On the last evening of the consultant's visit he will present an oral evaluation of the growth and potential of the congregation. This report will also include proposed alternatives for future action.
In order to keep this service cost effective there is no written report. The oral report designed to supplement the Diagnostic Evaluation Written Report. Taping the oral report is recommended. A supplemental written analysis is available upon request.
